A New Year
Alright! the New Year has begun and I resolve to do better about keeping this up to date, resolutely! So here we go.

This will be good! I met a singer/songwriter/performer, Brian Tremblay, at the FMO (now FCO) Conference in Mississauga, in October. He lives in Sault St Marie and publishes a blog on on substack called Brian Tremblay’s Lonesome Cowboy Podcast. He has interviewed such luminaries as Charlie A’Court, Shawn William Clarke, Pete Eastmure, Will Gillespie, Stephen Fearing, Duncan Fremlin, Zachary Lucky, and Ken Whiteley.
You can find it here https://thelonesomecowboypodcast.substack.com/
He asked me to be interviewed for it. I agreed. We recorded the interview just before Christmas. It will be posted sometime in the New Year. I will inform you by posting the info on all the socials when it happens, so watch for it. You may learn something about me, from it, that you did not know already. Hard to imagine, but it could happen.
There are a couple of gigs booked already, coming soon is the Barlo Barlopalooza, a gathering to celebrate the life, and recognize the passing, of one of the Barlopalooza founders, the unique Arlo Burgon, a real supporter of live music. This will be at the Black Swan Tavern, Sunday, January 19, 4 pm to 8 pm.
I will also be playing at the Winterfolk Festival, Saturday, February 15, noon to 2 pm, in the Living Room of the Tranzac Club in Toronto, with a group from Dr B’s Acoustic Medicine Show.
