Dougal, is a Gaelic name, meaning “dark stranger”. He does his best to live up to that. It is not always easy. He has been creating music all his life, in various forms. Sometimes just in his imagination. He has played various instruments, including electric, and acoustic guitar, bass, harmonica, keyboards, fiddle, tenor saxophone, bamboo flute, and the bagpipes, in a variety of genres, with different rock, jazz and other groups, The Quintet, The Vacant Lot, The Grub Street Banana Band, Rockwood, and, most recently, bitchin’. Dougal is currently concentrating on songwriting, and guitar playing. Have a listen.
