Cookin’ in June
I performed on Sunday, June 4, for this group of 250 cyclists on the Manitoulin Passage Ride, at the Tekhummah Hall, Tekhummah, Manitoulin Island, 11:30 to 2 p.m. It was organized by MICA (Manitoulin Island Cycling Advocates). One of the organizers, Maja Mielonen, had a cancelation, and asked me to fill in. They come on the Chi Chi Maun, and tour a part of the island. Thanks for the photo to Bill and Ashley. Here I am flanked by royalty at Tekhummah Hall, in front of a hall full of cyclists, eating lunch. I won’t bother with the set list. I think I played every song that I know. Photo by Joyce Young.
Then, back in Toronto on Saturday, June 10, I performed a 60 min set, with Darlene Sachs on cajon, at the Rock Garden, 539/541 Clinton Street, for the Open Tuning Festival, in Seaton Village.
Here is the Set List for that one.
