Open Tuning, the Open Tuning Festival, I played at it in Seaton Village, two years ago, on a porch on Yarmouth Ave. It was a beautiful sunny day, and really good to play there. I missed it last year, with the lockdown restrictions and being out of town. I did not missit this year, though. On June 5, I played on my own front porch, very similar to the one on Yarmouth, and live streamed to my Dougalsongs Facebook page, for about an hour. I cleaned up the sound and video a bit. I see signs that things are starting to open. I spent a few hours on the patio of The Duke Live, on Queen St East at Leslie yesterday. It was a real treat to spend time like that with friends, celebrating a birthday. We will do more of that.
