These are certainly strange times we are fallen on. I hear people saying that some businesses are refusing to take cash, for fear of contamination. The move to a cashless society is one agenda being furthered by the pandemic. It is a short step from there to insisting that people can only use the self checkout option. That way there does not have to be any person to person contact. Just wear your rubber gloves and use your hand sanitizer. The other agenda being furthered is Doug Ford’s online learning initiative. Strange bedfellows indeed.
